Unmarx, an Innovative Product That Removes a Variety of Marks on Clothing, Invented by Two Sisters From Rochester Hills, Michigan is Available for Purchase Online at www.unmarx.com

A unique portable cleaning product for clothes, Unmarx, was launched by Stance, LLC  and is available for purchase online at http://www.unmarx.com.

Unmarx was developed to erase everyday marks on clothing. Marks are fragments, dried residues, hairs, fibers and more left behind on your clothes. Something we all deal with on a daily basis. Unlike stains, these substances brush right off.

The hand-sized pad features a chemical-free mesh cleaning surface that requires no water for cleaning and no refills to buy. It can be used to remove a variety of marks from clothing, including deodorant marks, makeup powders, baby/body powders, dandruff, dried dirt, and salt residue from cars. In addition, it can also be used to wipe off lint, pet hair, dried food and so much more.

Unmarx is the invention of sisters Stephanie and Nancy Tomovska of Rochester Hills, Michigan in response to the need for a portable and reusable cleaning product to keep their attire looking its best throughout their busy day. After a deodorant mishap, that a lint roller couldn’t handle and a wet towel made worse, the sisters invented an ingenious way to wipe away those annoying marks. Unmarx, a simple, no water needed, inexpensive solution for a common problem- clothing marks.

“We were both on-the-go all the time and really needed something to get rid of those annoying marks that you often get on clothes throughout the day,” Nancy Tomovska said. “We couldn’t find one product that would work on different clothing marks, so we decided to invent our own wardrobe must-have.”

Stephanie Tomovska said they started with the product design idea and then bought different materials and assembled their own demo versions of the product to test.

“We were working at the local library during our free time to launch the product and even used the librarians as a focus group to help us with product improvements,” she said.

They eventually contracted with a local manufacturing company in Madison Heights, Michigan to perfect and produce the product and launched an e-commerce website to sell it.

A series of great reviews on TV, radio, print publications and blogs help drive people to their website to purchase Unmarx and it was selected to be in Swag Bags for Celebrities and VIPs at the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Unmarx was given to Hollywood celebrities attending the Golden Globe Awards at a gifting suite in Hollywood.

“The Golden Globe Awards really gave us an opportunity to show celebrities how well the product works and we received a lot of great publicity and even comments on Twitter and Facebook from many of them telling us how much they like it and use it,” Stephanie Tomovska said.

Unmarx is available in a variety of colors and retails online for $9.99. A portion of the proceeds are donated towards the fight against Breast Cancer.

“After losing our mother to breast cancer, donating to the cause has been a personal mission of ours,” said Nancy Tomovska.” That is why we donate a portion of our proceeds from Unmarx to breast cancer organizations. While wiping away clothing marks, we can help wipe away breast cancer, one purchase at a time.”

Stance, LLC also supports and participates in many local charity events in their area. They helped raise over $160,000 for the Relay For Life of Greater Rochester. All proceeds from their product Unmarx sold at the event were donated to the American Cancer Society.
